Chapter 3 : Get Out of the Family!

“Why are you silent now? What’s wrong, Samimi? Aren’t you usually the one who loves scolding others?” The count’s second wife shouted at her harshly in front of everyone, showing no mercy.

Samimi honestly didn’t know what to say.

“Hmph, it’s fine if you won’t talk.” Her aunt sneered.

“Your mother wants to see you. You’re in for it—just look at the disgrace you’ve brought upon our family.”

The knights she brought surrounded Samimi, making sure she couldn’t slip away easily.

“Take me to see Mother.” Samimi said calmly, accepting her fate.

Her aunt and the knights all looked puzzled, glancing at each other.

Why was this usually difficult noble young lady being so quiet and composed? They’d expected a dramatic tantrum before they could drag her back.

But for the knights, this was a welcome surprise. They had come prepared for a battle, knowing just how troublesome Samimi was rumored to be.

Hearing this, the countess trembled, slammed her hand on the desk, and stood up with a cold, stern expression.

The pink-haired girl tried to help her up, but the countess brushed her hand aside, determined to rise on her own before turning to face her daughter.

Only to find Samimi not even looking at her—instead, Samimi was staring at the pink-haired girl, scrutinizing her from head to toe.

That pale pink hair… could she be…?

Samimi remembered that in the later stages of Rose Phantom Duel, a major character had appeared.

So this was her? The daughter of her aunt? Her cousin—the one her villainous self used to bully?

“Samimi! Do you even understand what you’ve done?!” The countess’s furious shout snapped Samimi out of her thoughts.

“…” Samimi quietly accepted the scolding without resistance.

Her aunt and cousin stood to the side, watching gleefully as Samimi was berated, clearly enjoying the moment.

According to Samimi’s memories, her former self had treated this cousin horribly—constantly picking fights, harassing her, even groping her because she was pretty.

Seriously, Samimi? You didn’t even spare your own cousin?

No wonder the pink-haired cousin looked at her with such cold contempt, no trace of sympathy—she probably wished Samimi would drop dead on the spot.

With that, she slumped back into her chair, turned her face away, and started coughing violently from sheer rage. She didn’t even want to look at this disobedient child again.

The happiest person in the room was clearly the aunt, who could no longer hide her delighted smile.

“My apologies for disappointing you. Please take care of yourself, Madam Felling,” Samimi said to her mother’s turned back, no longer calling her Mother, before turning to leave.

The countess’s brow furrowed, confused by her daughter’s tone. She stopped coughing.

This didn’t sound like her daughter at all.

She didn’t throw a tantrum? She didn’t beg for forgiveness? She just accepted it and walked away?

Was this really her unruly daughter?

Normally, she’d expect Samimi to fall to her knees, cry, plead, and demand to stay. That would’ve given her a reason to relent and keep her home to discipline her further.

But now she had said the words in front of her sister and niece. There was no taking them back.

“Sashafer, make sure your sister leaves our home,” her aunt snapped, following up on the countess’s decision without hesitation.

Sashafer—the pink-haired girl—was the second daughter of the Felling family, Samimi’s cousin.

She followed Samimi to her large princess-style bedroom.

Samimi tried to go in and pack some useful things, but Sashafer blocked the doorway.

“From now on, this is my room. Your things are my things. There’s nothing here for you to take. I’ve also awakened a talent for healing, and I’ll be replacing you in the church as a high priestess,” Sashafer declared coldly.
