Thank you very much for waiting.
Time flies; it's been two and a half years since the previous volume.
I remember discussing with my editor before the release of Volume 1 whether we could just skip the afterword.
The conclusion was that it's perfectly fine not to have an afterword.
I don't remember how that discussion went anymore, but as a result, I'm still writing afterwords.
Even now, I find myself thinking I should have just skipped it after all.
Yes.
I've run out of words of apology.
I'm sure my past self must have predicted things would turn out this way.
From now on, I will brace myself and approach my writing so that I won't have to apologize in the afterword.
In parallel with that, I'll consult with my editor to see if we can do away with the afterword for the next volume.
Although the pace is slow, I am truly grateful to everyone who supports Eminence in Shadow.
I look forward to your continued support.
And finally, the latest information about the movie version has been released.
I'm also involved in the production, but...
To be honest, it might be more interesting than the original work.
I believe the quality will definitely not betray your expectations, so I would be happy if you look forward to the movie version as well.
Well then, let's meet again in Volume 8.
