Chapter 126: The Palm Strike From Heaven

Wang Xixi: “Oh no! God Feng just escaped the tiger’s den only to enter the wolf’s lair! From our god’s-eye view, we can clearly see dangers lurking everywhere!”

“But look at God Feng—he’s fully aware of the danger.”

“He’s fishing! He’s pulling aggro! He’s the train conductor!”

“What’s he planning? He wants to wipe them all out at once!”

“Beautiful! That Gungnir Spear cleared the entire field! Only stragglers remain—no threat at all!”

“Most players would play it safe and pick enemies off one by one. But to him, hundreds of skeleton soldiers are just vegetables! Truly, this is God Feng!”

Love Kun: “Xixi’s so right!”

Crescent Moon: “Xixi’s analysis was perfect! And paired with God Feng’s line? So cool!”

Internally, she thought: “Did you have to shout it? We’re live! Could’ve at least whispered!”

Then again, given her brother’s apparent age, wasn’t this exactly the time for chuunibyou antics?

Whether it was cringe or cool depended entirely on how the commentators spun it.

Love Kun: “Xiao Yue’er, what do you think of that skill?”

“My take? No clue. In Otherworld, aside from the five basic class skills, getting any other skill is extremely hard—usually through skill books or apprenticeship.”

“I’ve never seen God Feng’s move before. But it’s strong and cool—that’s enough. Maybe this event’s whole point is showing players Otherworld’s vast skill system.”

Wang Xixi: “Look—God Feng’s got new trouble.”

After clearing most enemies with one strike, Yulia prepared to mop up the stragglers.

Then—the ground trembled.

A gigantic skeletal hand burst from the earth, grabbing at her.

Yulia sensed it instantly, easily dodging.

The hand was followed by a skull, then a ribcage, then legs—until a five-to-six-meter-tall skeleton loomed before her.

[Name: Skeleton General (Green Elite)

Level: 29 (High Silver-rank)]

HP: 20,000/20,000]

An elite monster.

In Otherworld, enemies were categorized as:

– White

– Green (elites)

– Blue (mini-bosses)

– Purple (bosses)

– Gold (world bosses)

The Skeleton General brought a hundred more skeleton soldiers with it.

Really? An elite resorting to ambushes and gang fights?

Suddenly, Yulia had an idea.

She dashed to a nearby skeleton—one punch to the head, one punch to the torso—insta-kill.

Checking her points, she was instantly happy.

It increased!

So this wasn’t a fight—the Skeleton General was delivering EXP!

While Yulia analyzed mechanics, the skeletons weren’t idle either.

The General, as the main attacker, thrust a massive bone spear at her.

Other skeletons provided ranged suppression or charged in—only to eat friendly fire. Not that it mattered; skeletons are mostly immune to other skeletons’ attacks.

Close combat meant friendly fire—but at least the event disabled player friendly fire.

Yulia dodged everything with ease.

Her speed, paired with spatial perception, gave her a real-time 3D map of all incoming attacks—she just had to follow the blueprint.

The General’s spear stabbed air, embedding in the ground. Yulia stepped onto it, climbing the arm like a ladder.

The General reacted fast, flinging its arm to shake her off.

But Yulia expected this.

Grinning, she used the momentum to launch herself skyward.

At the peak of her jump, she clasped her hands, eyes softly closed.

“Amitabha. Have you ever seen… a palm strike from the heavens?”

Midair, she flipped—head down, feet up—and began descending faster.

At the halfway point, her eyes snapped open, right palm aimed downward.

“Buddha’s Palm!”

BOOM!

The ground cratered, leaving a massive palm print. The General and its minions were all caught in it.

Yulia landed lightly at the center, hands re-clasped.

“Amitabha.”

As she spoke, the skeletons shook—then shattered, bones breaking and scattering into useless piles.

Now the field was truly cleared.

“Oh?” Yulia eyed the General. “You’re tough.”

That strike had shaved off 6,000 HP—and several bones.

Meanwhile, Yulia’s mana bar had dropped by… a quarter? And it was recovering quickly.

The General recovered, but didn’t attack. Instead, it transformed.

It shed the damaged bones, while the remaining ones compressed and rearranged.

Soon, it stood under two meters tall—a humanoid figure encased in bone armor.

“Solid combat instincts. You know your size was a weakness against me?”

Yulia couldn’t help but praise it. This monster’s intelligence was remarkable—unlike the mindless mobs outside.

“But shrinking exposes your real weakness.”

Her Golden Eye activated, revealing the General’s core—a heart-like object buried beneath layers of bone in its chest.

Self-healing? That core had to be the key.

Yulia flicked her wrist, and a bone sword dropped by a skeleton soldier appeared on her hand.

White gear—trash. But good enough.

She casually tossed it at the General.

The blade flew—but the General dodged.

Smaller size meant higher agility.

Now armed with its two-meter bone spear, it charged.

Thrust! Slash! Uppercut!

The General unleashed a furious, rapid assault.

Lean! Duck! Step back!

Yulia danced through the attacks, evading each by millimeters—like walking on a blade’s edge.

Suddenly, her gauntlet blocked a strike—then twisted, yanking the spear toward her as she lunged forward, hitting the General with her shoulders.

BANG!

The General skidded back meters, its chest armor visibly dented.

Yulia smirked, crooking a finger at it.

The General had no emotions—outwardly, at least.

It hefted its spear and charged again.
