Chapter 1: Abducted to Another World I was walking along the sidewalk, feeling hungry and hoping to find a convenience store, when a group of three high school girls approached from the front. The two with brown hair walking ahead, chattering away, had skirts so short I wondered if that was really their uniform. A step or two behind them, a girl with black hair braided into pigtails and wearing black-rimmed glasses walked silently. They were wearing the same uniform, so I thought of them as a trio, but maybe it was more accurate to say two and one. Just as I thought they'd passed me, the sidewalk beneath my feet suddenly glowed a pale blue.
