The gentle warmth makes an unbidden smile spill across my face. I stretch my back in front of the house. It's not like my shoulders are stiff or anything, but ingrained habits apparently don't fade so easily. When I lower my gaze, the familiar village scenery greets me. As always, the distance between houses is terrifyingly wide. Apparently, it can't be helped since every household has its own farmland.
