In the dark of the night, in a cramped square bedroom, a young girl with long black hair lay in bed, covered by a grey-white quilt that reached her shoulders, revealing the faded lace trim of her nightgown. The girl looked to be about seven or eight years old. She had a delicate face with a slightly high nose, and two red pimples on her chin.
