Even though it was too vivid to be a dream, I had to stand silently and stare at faces I’d never seen before, researching a field I’d only heard the name of, or sometimes a name completely unfamiliar to me. If that wasn’t a dream, then what was it? Naturally, I dismissed it as a nonsense dream. But it kept happening every single day. I worried I was developing a mental illness.
