And yet, this lunatic became the most kingly of all the monarchs in the history of the Emar Kingdom. The people even called him a ‘sage king,’ crediting him for ushering in an unprecedented golden era for the nation. In public, he played the role of an ideal king, a compassionate, stern leader devoted to the country. He excelled at statecraft.
